I managed the Affordable Housing Communications Team at Places for People as part of the Executive Support function. Providing strategic communications expertise, I supported a number of different teams and workstreams including senior and wider leadership, COVID response, change management and day-to-day operations.

Although the team wasn't established long, we began to be less reactive and more proactive, and I introduced new tools and methods to give structure and planning to our work.

Between March 2021 and when I left in October, the team completed over 400 hours of dedicated project work, with new initiatives and business support activity planned through into 2022.
