I managed the strategic planning and delivery of Derwent Living's communications and digital services team and provided communications support and expertise to the affordable housing cluster of businesses within Places for People. I had line management responsibility for colleagues in the communications team at Derwent Living and was a member of the Senior Leadership Team. 

Key areas of responsibility included leadership communications, strategic positioning, crisis messaging and supporting the delivery of large-scale organisational change initiatives. 

I also became heavily involved in shaping internal and external communications across affordable housing landlords within Places for People as it responded to the March 2020 lockdown and the restrictions that followed.
